This project is based on the text of Adolfo Bioy Casares’ novel “Evasion Plan” (Plan de Evasión), where synesthesia is one of the central themes.

The piece consists of a large green glass jar from whose interior the perfume of the novel emerges.

The jar contains aromatic substances related to the universe of the text (such as algae, raw meat, formaldehyde, wet earth) that converge in a single perfume due to its spatial proximity, and a sound device that reproduces fragments of the text read by a weak voice.
